Dennis Gibbons is a freelance writer residing in Burlington, Ont., Denis Gibbons is former editor of The Burlington Post and has written for most of major daily newspapers in Canada.
 

He has traveled extensively in Europe and is fluent in French and Russian. He also has studied Czech, German, Japanese and Spanish.
 

His wife Christine's father John Ivanco was an immigrant to Canada himself, arriving here from Czechoslovakia in 1937 at the age of 7.
